We were treated to an amazing presentation from the wonderful people at Science in a Van. We learnt a lot about the three laws of motion and saw some super interesting experiments.
My favourtite part was when Steve (the chicken) was strapped to the rocket and then was blown into the ceiling. What was yours?Please check out some more EPIC videos and pictures and leave us a comment!
I loved the way we had a whole school motivation first thing in the morning. It meant that students (& teachers) were wanting more interesting engagement with this show. I llked the "waterfall" effect at the start staring into the vortex and seeing Steve's head enlarge!
ReplyDeleteI have been so impressed listening to the conversations around the playground yesterday with children discussing what they had seen and heard and using the language of science to explain this. Go Sunnyhills you are fast learners.
