SVA Project = Mission Complete!

Room 6 worked so hard to plan and follow through a student volunteer project. We helped Sunnyhills School to stay gold green by cleaning up the school grounds through picking up rubbish, weeding the gardens, washing and getting rid of broken sandpit toys and moving mulch to the western boundary gardens. We also helped some buddy classes with new entrance and year one students to create Christmas cards that they can take home and share with their families.

I am so proud of all the effort that the students put into this project and I know that they learnt a wide range of skills to help them.

Check out the video attached that was made by our storytellers about our project day.

Environmental Studies are FUN!

Wow! I am super impressed with all the Room 6 students who have been working hard in their Environment classes. They have planned and created movies to promote the wonderful outdoors. Have a look at some of the completed films here  and here on Mrs Daniels YouTube account.

X-Factor was FANTASTIC!

Well done to all of the participants who performed at our school X-Factor this week. I was stunned by the talents that our students have.

Nicole sang beautifully and Mia and Lauren presented a wonderful dance they choreographed together.

Thank you to all of the students and parents who donated money, this is going to the Kampung kids in a village school in Jakarta. The money will go towards providing them hot lunches.

One of my favourite items was the piano, what was yours?
